THOMAS CROUSE
Thomas is from Paris. He wears a t-shirt with PARIS written on it and is proud of that. In 2005, after completing his CG design studies, he left the city anyway.
He moved to Belgium and opened a tattoo studio that quickly gained a reputation. But the reputation brought the wrong clients: people who wanted a tattoo technician, not a tattoo artist. This was the period when tattoo culture became fully mainstream, and Thomas felt it. After five years, he closed the studio.
It took some time. Then he decided he still loved the art of tattooing, just not the way he had been practicing it. He relaunched, but on his own terms: a discreet studio with a vintage feel, where he tattoos only his own drawings. No dolphins. No generic Chinese characters.
